PUBLIC NOTICE 2012 MEETING SCHEDULE
The 2012 regular meeting schedule for the Board of Supervisors of Durham Township, Bucks County, PA is as follows: the second Tuesday of each month; Jan 10; Feb 14; March 13; April 10; May 08; June 12; July 10; Aug. 14; Sept. 11; Oct. 09; Nov. 13; and Dec.11.
The 2012 meeting schedule for the Townships’ Planning Commission is the first Tuesday of each month: Jan. 04(Wed); Feb. 07; March 06; April 03; May 01; June 05; July 03; August 07; Sept. 04; Oct. 2; Nov. 07 (Wed); and Dec. 04. All meetings are on an “as-needed” basis.
The 2012 meeting schedule for the Townships’ Park & Recreation Board is the fourth Tuesday of each month: Jan. 24; Feb. 28; March 27; April 25 (Wed); May 22; June 26; July 24; August 28; Sept. 25; Oct. 23; and Nov. 27. No Meeting in December. All meetings are on an “as-needed” basis.
The 2012 meeting schedule for the Townships’ EAC is the third Tuesday of each month; January 17, Feb. 21, March 20, April 17, May 15, June 19, July 17, August 21, Sept 18, October 16, Nov. 20, and Dec. 18th. All meetings are on an “as-needed” basis.
All meetings begin at 7:30 PM and are held in the Townships’ Municipal Building located at 215 Old Furnace Road, Durham, PA 18039 unless posted at site otherwise.
The public is invited & encouraged to attend all meetings.

PUBLIC NOTICE
RIGHT-TO-KNOW LAW ACT 3 OF 2008
In accordance with Act 3, signed into law on February 14, 2008 by Governor Edward G. Rendell; Durham Township, via Resolution 2009-1enacted on January 13, 2009 by the Board of Supervisors, hereby enacts the following:
The Township Manager/Secretary hereby is appointed as the townships’ “Right-To-Know” / “Open Records Officer”
All requests for accessible “public records” shall be submitted in writing to him/her.
The township shall make a good faith effort to respond within five (5) working days of receipt of the request whenever possible.

NOTICE Durham Township is presently entertaining offers to purchase & remove a large wooden “post & beam” barn building (20’ X 60’) located on township property behind the township building. Contact the township manager at 610-346-8911 for more information.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Durham Township has the following volunteer board openings:
Park & Recreation Board...One (1) Opening Must be available to attend monthly meetings held on the fourth Tuesday of the month, as needed Assist in developing and participate in community recreation events, i.e. Community Day, Colonial Wreath Making Class, Summer Concert Series and other Grist Mill Events Assist in maintaining and up-keep of township ball field & historic grist mill when requested to do so.
Interested township residents only can contact the township manager at the township office 610-346-8911 for more information or to submit a letter of interest. All candidates are reviewed & appointed by the township supervisors.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Durham Township has the following employment opportunity:
Zoning / Code Enforcement Officer
Durham Township is presently accepting applications for a part-time appointed official to enforce the townships’ zoning ordinance and to administer the building inspection program. Flexible hours as needed to accomplish the mission at approximately six (6) to eight (8) hours per week on average. Must also be available to attend Tuesday night meetings a couple of nights per month.
Experience in zoning ordinance administration and some knowledge of the building code industry is required. Knowledge of standard computer programs along with a dependable vehicle and clear PA Motor Vehicle Operators License is mandatory. Must be physically capable of performing on-site construction visits and walking through rough terrain.
Interested applicants may contact the township manager in the township office to complete an application, Monday through Friday during normal business hours, or call 610-346-8911 to obtain additional information.
